Go for a picnic, walk, canoe... whatever you enjoy doing as a family.

Family photoshoots are one of my most favourite things to capture. I am not just saying this but I genuinely believe every family needs a photoshoot at some point. Not only do they bring everyone closer together (literally - when I get you hugging each other), but it creates wonderful memories that you can't forget as they are documented on my camera (and given to you). Family portraits don't have to be awkward, it can simply mean going for a walk in your favourite location, getting your wellies on, grab the dog and just go outdoors (except you will have me following you around!). I have lost count the amount of times someone has said to me 'oh that wasn't that bad actually' and 'I really enjoyed that' (as though they wouldn't!). I don't want you to remember a time you was awkwardly stood in front of a photographer. I want you to remember the time you had loads of fun with your family... If you are unsure then just give it a go, at least once.
